NSA Mechanicsburg MWR Community Recreation is hosting our first ever virtual pumpkin carving contest starting on Wednesday, October 6. Patrons may submit photos of their best pumpkin carving for the chance to be entered into our drawing to win one of three fang-tastic prizes!
Two photos will be required at the time of entry. In the first photo, each participant must be photographed with their creation. The second photo should be the creator’s masterpiece close up, so that our judges can see the effort and fine details put into it.
Don’t be a scaredy cat! Submit your pumpkin carving photos and contact information to MECHCOMMUNITYREC.FCT@navy.mil no later than Wednesday, October 20 by noon.
With each entry, please include the following information:
- First and Last Name
- Telephone Number
- E-mail address
- Name for your pumpkin carving
If you want a tasty treat, be sure to holler “Trick-Or-Treat”! All participants will receive a Halloween goody bag by booking an appointment to stop by our office. Please park your broom at the door, wear a mask, and keep socially distanced at all times while in the building.
The winner will be announced via our distribution e-mail chain and our Facebook page @nsamechmwr on Friday, October 22 where we will also post photos of the winner’s carved pumpkin!
